Betta splendens originates from Thailand and surrounding Southeast Asia. Wild forms inhabit slow-moving waters such as rice paddies, canals, and floodplains.
The Orange Koi Nemo variety is a selectively bred marble strain developed for bold orange and white contrast. Because they carry the marble gene, coloration can continue to shift as they mature.
Behavior and Temperament
Males are territorial and should be housed alone.
They are alert, interactive fish that recognize movement outside the tank. They are best kept singly in display aquariums.
