Introduction
The Blue Zone CR-Series Calcium Reactors deliver consistent calcium and alkalinity replenishment for reef aquariums ranging from 130 to nearly 800 gallons. Each reactor uses a sealed CO₂ recirculation loop to dissolve aragonite media efficiently, maintaining balanced KH and calcium levels for demanding reef environments.
Built from heavy-gauge cast acrylic with precision-machined PVC fittings, every CR-Series reactor is engineered for quiet, reliable operation. The adjustable DC pump and LCD controller allow fine-tuned flow and CO₂ contact time, giving reef keepers full control over reactor performance.

The Plus versions add a secondary contact chamber that increases CO₂ dwell time and boosts dissolution efficiency. This second stage captures effluent from the main reactor, reducing acidity before discharge and improving stability in high-demand reef systems.
