Dennerle Scaper’s Soil is a professional-grade active substrate developed for aquascapes, planted tanks, and shrimp aquariums. Composed of 100% natural raw materials, it provides essential minerals and trace elements that support healthy, sustained plant growth.

Root support and filtration
The irregular 1–4 mm grain size offers natural aesthetics and secure root anchoring. Its loose, porous texture encourages water flow and oxygen exchange, helping prevent anaerobic zones. This structure also supports beneficial bacteria, turning the substrate into a biological filter that boosts water quality and overall tank stability.

Water chemistry control
Scaper’s Soil actively reduces pH and stabilizes it between 6.0–6.5—ideal for most tropical fish, plants, and ornamental shrimp. It also lowers carbonate hardness (KH), creating soft water conditions that many species thrive in. Naturally occurring humic and fulvic acids are released without discoloring the water.

Balanced nutrients, minimal algae
Its built-in nutrient buffering system holds excess nutrients and releases them slowly as plants require them. This helps prevent algae growth while promoting lush, healthy plant development.
