Inline CO₂ Bubble Counter with Integrated Check Valve

This inline bubble counter combines accurate bubble monitoring with built-in backflow protection in a single compact unit. The clear chamber allows you to visually set and confirm CO₂ flow rate, while the integrated check valve helps prevent aquarium water from traveling back toward the regulator.

Designed for flexible placement, it can be installed anywhere along the CO₂ line rather than being locked to the regulator body.

For systems with long tubing runs after the counter, adding a secondary stainless steel check valve closer to the diffuser is recommended. This helps prevent water from filling the line, which can cause backpressure, slow CO₂ response, and unnecessary stress on fittings.

Installation Options

Inline Bubble Counter
Install anywhere along the CO₂ tubing for clear visibility and consistent bubble counting. The integrated check valve provides basic backflow protection at the counter location.

Splitter-Adjacent Use
Because it is not regulator-mounted, this counter can be positioned closer to the aquarium or near a CO₂ splitter feeding multiple tanks. This reduces long tubing runs back to the regulator.
When used in this configuration, keep the chamber dry and do not add liquid.
