The Electric Blue Acara is a brilliant blue South American cichlid with metallic coloration covering nearly the entire body. It has an active, inquisitive personality and makes an excellent centerpiece fish without the extreme aggression associated with many larger cichlids.
They generally do well with similarly sized community fish, although pairs can become territorial when spawning.
