Dennerle Scaper’s Soil is a deep-black active substrate made from natural volcanic Andosol for planted tanks, aquascapes, and soft-water shrimp aquariums. Its porous 1–4 mm granules support strong root growth and beneficial bacteria while reducing carbonate hardness and stabilizing pH around 6.0–6.5

Scaper’s Soil supplies minerals and trace elements while its nutrient-buffering properties store excess nutrients and release them as plants need them. The loose, porous structure promotes water circulation through the substrate and provides an excellent surface for beneficial bacteria.

The double-fired granules remain stable underwater and create strong contrast beneath green plants and brightly colored shrimp.
