Green Kubotai Rasbora is a brilliant schooling freshwater species ideal for planted nano aquariums, known for its fluorescent green coloration.
🐟 More About This Species 🐟
Green Kubotai Rasbora (Microdevario kubotai) is native to clear forest streams in southern Thailand and neighboring Myanmar. These waterways typically contain gentle to moderate currents, aquatic vegetation, leaf litter, and well-oxygenated water.
Its small, streamlined body displays vivid lime-green iridescence that becomes especially striking under planted-aquarium lighting. Males are generally slimmer and more intensely colored, while mature females develop fuller bodies.
This peaceful, active schooling fish looks best in a good-sized group, where its synchronized movement produces a bright green shimmer throughout the aquarium. Its compact size makes it particularly well suited to planted nano and community aquariums.
